What is Beta-Carotene?

Qu'est-ce que le Béta-Carotène ?

What is beta-carotene?

Beta-carotene has an antioxidant action and helps protect the body from premature aging. When digested, it is transformed into retinol (active form of vitamin A), which allows the synthesis of melanin which is the origin of the pigmentation of our skin when tanning.

What foods contain beta-carotene?

Foods with the highest levels of beta-carotene include carrots, sweet potatoes, pumpkins, apricots, melons, watermelons, tomatoes, mangoes, as well as vegetables and salads such as green cabbage, spinach, chervil and lamb's lettuce.

ALOHA Prepare, your beta-carotene food supplement for a dream tan

To facilitate its absorption by the body, beta-carotene is accompanied by lipids such as sunflower oil or oilseeds. This is why Aloha contains beta-carotene as well as sunflower oil and coconut oil. For beta-carotene to be transformed into vitamin A, a supply of zinc and vitamin C is required. Aloha is therefore also composed of zinc, vitamin C, vitamin E, selenium, copper and vitamin A. All for a dream tan, naturally luminous and uniform.
