Icon of the month January 2023: Marie Marot

What made you want to become an entrepreneur?
Itwas natural, I'm convinced that it's a state of mind that you either have or you don't have. It's a tough day-to-day, whether it works or not, it's without a net, it's up to you. And at the same time it is a fabulous adventure, which pushes you to surpass yourself, you also learn a lot about yourself.  

Why shirts and where do you find your inspirations?
Mostwomen "collect" shoes, I've always "collected" shirts since I was a teenager, cotton, denim, linen, vintage, new and lots of different brands. It's a garment that I instantly feel good in, whether it's worn with a pin or more casual. It's "torture" for me to wear a tee ;) 

I get inspired by everything, I look at everything, what we've done before and what we're doing now. Even if my shirts are timeless and classic, the eye and the image must remain fresh!

What do you think are the 3 essentials of a feminine wardrobe?
Ashirt, jeans and a cashmere sweater - it doesn't get more feminine than that  

Could you name your fashion and beauty icons ?
CatherineDeneuve, Fanny Ardant, Andrée Putman, Ali McGraw, Lauren Hutton, Giovanni Agnelli, Françoise Sagan and many others... 

What are your tips for living life to the fullest?
Don't live at a hundred miles an hour ;) - know how to take time, time for yourself, listen to yourself. Living at a hundred miles an hour is not a guarantee of productivity... 

What does D+ for care mean to you?
Inner beauty - reverse the trend, start at the beginning, i.e. take care of yourself from the inside, through food and supplements and not just through creams and serums. Adopt new reflexes. 

What is your relationship with beauty? Are you a big consumer or a minimalist?
Pretty minimalist - I like to test new products over 2/3 months minimum and never too many products or supplements at the same time.

If you had to keep only 1 beauty product, what would you keep?
Thecollagen sticks! 

Finally, what would you say to a young entrepreneur who would like to start her own business?
Without hesitation I would tell her to go for it, everything is possible even without any background or investor.

Tell a story, create a universe, don't forget your intuition, know how to surround yourself well, have fun and be persistent. The rest will follow...
