  • Olivia, you were a TV presenter, then you joined INFRAROUGE magazine as editor-in-chief, tell us about your career.

I was a TV host for 15 years in the culture and lifestyle. I started on TNT on Direct8, now C8, then I was on France4, Voyage, BFM... I presented a cultural morning show, several theater programs, cultural welcome shows, a travel program... then the editor of INFRAROUGE Magazine proposed me, 2 and a half years ago, to take over the editorial staff of the magazine. I said to myself why not and I launched into a new adventure.

  • A story behind the name "INFRARED"?

INFRAROUGE was created 20 years ago. At the beginning, it was a free night magazine. It was about people, restaurants and nightclubs. Today, it's a luxury lifestyle magazine that reaches people in their 30s and 50s who have strong purchasing power. In fact, INFRAROUGE has grown with its readers of 20 years ago.

  • What are the subjects you talk about?

INFRAROUGE, is the free magazine of good plans everywhere in France. We give you all our good addresses for restaurants, travel, beauty and lifestyle. We take our readers to discover new places or products with an offbeat tone of course!

  • Culture and the art of living have an important place there. What is your relationship with culture?

Very important. I read a lot. I just finished "What the day owes to the night" by Yasmina Khadra, which I loved. Otherwise, I go every week to the theater and to the cinema, so I find it hard to live without culture. I find it unfair, frustrating and incomprehensible. France is culture. Without culture, life is very insipid and morose.

  • How can we talk about culture when most of the places that are normally dedicated to it are closed?

Museums offer a lot of virtual tours of exhibitions, podcasts are developing a lot, many galleries are still open and we have fortunately the joy of relearning to devour books or good series! At the moment, I'm a fan of "Peaky Blinders", a series inspired by a real gang that operated at the end of the 19th century, a treat!

  • What is your current artist?

I have many but at the moment I like Julien Doré. I met him before the 2nd confinement for an interview. I listen to his last album "Aimée". I like this romantic and sensitive character committed to the planet and global warming. In short, I share his fights.

  • You always have lots of ideas and new projects, where do you get your inspiration?

I work all the time. I am very curious by nature. I read all the press. I keep up with what's going on in culture, beauty and world travel. I get inspired by current events and the women I love: my friends, my sisters and inspiring women I meet like Claire ;)

  • How do you manage to combine your life as a journalist and as a mother?

You just have to be organised. I'm lucky to have that in me. When everything is square I feel good. My children and my husband are my priority, so I always make sure that everything runs smoothly at home. Then I'm lucky enough to be teleworking most of the time so I can work from wherever I want at whatever time I want. Which is a huge luxury.

  • What are your wellness tips as a very active woman?

Take time for yourself every day, even for 5 minutes, surround yourself with caring people, never feel guilty and take your house in your bag so you never forget anything.

  • Three words or a short sentence to describe yourself?

I think I'm a very natural, authentic woman and a potential mother hen.

Be even more beautiful!

  • What is your relationship with food supplements?

I've been to a lot of naturopaths so I know what it's like to have a list of 10 supplements to take. I'm quite rigorous so I do it but I don't last. I do cures every year.

  • What is your best kept beauty tip? What is your morning ritual to get in shape?

I have very dry skin so I brush my skin in the morning with a body brush! It removes cellulite and my skin is softer and more hydrated.

  • What makes you feel beautiful?

When my husband looks at me and says I love you!

  • In which category of women D+ for care do you recognize yourself?

This one: The natural and life-centric woman: taking care of myself starting from the inside, the best of nature to have the best of me.
