To end the year in style, what could be better than discovering an inspiring personality? I met Amélie from Chalard by discovering its new concept Amélie Maison d'Art , a sublime gallery exhibiting unique works in a friendly setting, just like at home! Passionate about art, decoration and beauty, she shares with you her beauty secrets and her favorite addresses...
The beauty interview with Amélie du Chalard:
- D+ for care, what does that mean to you?
A new way to take care of your skin. It's true that I don't cover myself with cream, I do the minimum so I like having this quick and efficient daily routine!
- What is your relationship with food supplements and how has D+ for care revolutionized it?
I don't actually take any except DAY+ from the D+ for care brand. I have the impression that it is "really" effective.
- Between us… Do you recommend D+ for care to your girlfriends or is it your best kept beauty secret?
I share it! As soon as they start complaining about wrinkles, fine lines or spots on the skin.
- 3 words that describe a Parisian woman?
Elegance, energy & sobriety.
- Your favorite addresses in Paris?
At Claus's for breakfast, The Market for lunch, and Yam t'cha or La Buvette for the evening. I do a lot of sport so racing is part of the journey too.
- Your flagship beauty products?
A Biotherm gel cream (Aquasource), Caudalie beauty water (very simple spray), my Carmex, my Guerlain terracotta.
- Your favorite beauty gestures?
Morning lemon juice (really), my DAY+ then. Put cream on my hands.
- The worst beauty faux-pas?
Very colorful eyelids. Makeup that is too visible in general.
- Your very personal/weird beauty gesture?
Passion fruit seeds on the face.
- And when you crack, what do you crack for?
There are different degrees of cracking. Dark chocolate, 80% Marou. A weekend away at the last minute (NY?).
- Your beauty icon?
Christy Turlington.
- What makes you feel beautiful?
My husband, sport, a trip in the sun.
- Having fun until the early hours and being a beauty priestess, that's finally compatible, right?
Probably yes, but reasonably!
- Which category of D+ for care women do you identify with?
Between the natural woman and the woman on the go!
- And finally… " Less is more " Or " More the better » ?
The more the better.
