- Can you describe the concept of The Eye of Jewelry?
It is initially a digital magazine - which must be taken literally, that is to say: the eye of jewelry. A 360° view of all the trends, the news of institutional brands but also of designers transmitted to the general public in a digestible way. The notion of education is essential! Two years ago, I implemented a marketplace, making The Eye of Jewelry the first niche media linking editorial to commercial in order to offer our readers the possibility of buying a piece that they could have discovered by reading us.
- What pieces can we find in your online store?
The new guard of jewelry! You can mainly find designers found all over the world... It's hard to choose between the enameled stars of Colette Jewelry, the diamond pendants on silver signed by Jaerger, or the Persée jewelry of the pierced diamond concept. Not to mention the ultra-modernized Fabergé eggs, the filigree of Christina Soubli or the talismans of Rivka... In short, there is something for all tastes and all budgets.
- How did you get started on your entrepreneurial adventure?
After spending 5 years within brands and then traveling for 8 months in a cabin suitcase, it was a bit complicated to consider returning to an office, from 9am to 6pm and having to report everything to a boss, dressed normally. As I had started writing again during this trip and that finally, I realized that I had never really used my journalism degree - it was time! It is clear that I had grown up in watchmaking, worked in jewelry, that I loved writing and that no jewelry media had been created, so I took the plunge.
- What are your wellness tips for living life in the fast lane?
A champion's breakfast, never alcohol, going to bed early or even very early as soon as I can and doing any kind of sport: pilates, zumba, tennis, elliptical... But above all doing what I love and with passion by devoting myself to stimulating projects... That's what can make me wake up at dawn.
- D+ for care, what does that mean to you?
The only food supplement that I agreed to try and that I adopted the first month… Without ever deviating from it.
- Between us… do you recommend D+ for care to your girlfriends or is it your best kept beauty secret?
It's my mantra to share my knowledge! So no, it's not a secret! (Laughs) In truth, I only recommended D+ for care in spite of myself, because I was constantly asked how I managed to have such a fresh and luminous complexion while I spend my life on planes and with jet lag. So be it.
- Your favorite addresses in Paris?
Carette for the best chouquettes in Paris, Kayser for madeleines, Les Deux Abeilles for a girls' lunch. Crudus & Cibvs for truffle pasta or the best Milanese in the world even though they're not on the menu. Le Marché Des Enfants Rouges in the Marais for sushi at the counter. The St Roch hotel for a confidential but very cool gourmet tea. The Khajuraho restaurant in the 7th for the best cheese Naan! We were talking about favorite food addresses, right? Otherwise, Montaigne Market for their selection of printed long skirts - ABSOLUTE FAN.
- Your flagship beauty products?
Bioderma micellar water, Leonor Greyl palm oil for hair, Ligne St Barth avocado oil for body, Dior apricot cream for cuticles and Trish McEvoy mascara which can be removed with hot water.
- What are the jewels that accompany you everywhere?
My rock crystal necklace set with a yellow gold and black opal ring, the De Jaegher diamond choker, my row of emeralds by Rivka Nahmias and my Yvonne Léon earcuff.
- What is your favorite stone?
Impossible to choose one! So, plural, I would say paraiba tourmaline, turquoise, spinel and opals.
- Rather statement jewelry or accumulation of pieces?
Statement Jewelry!
- Your fashion and beauty icons/inspirations?
For the timeless ones, I would say Thalita Getty and Liz Taylor! Beauty and fashion: Jessica Biel, Hailey Bieber, Zoe Kravitz, Rihanna and Zendaya.
- Which category of D+ for care women do you identify with?
The “Freedom Freak”: mixing freedom, festivities, nonchalance.
- What is your mantra to stay motivated no matter what happens in your life as an entrepreneur?
Bounce back to new projects!
- And finally… “Less is more” or “More the better”?
More the better, of course!
