We are delighted to introduce you to the founder of the clothing brand Maria de la Orden. A designer with a keen eye, she takes you into her world and shares with you her best Parisian addresses, her tips for well-being and her vision of fashion.
Can you describe the concept of your brand Maria de la Orden?
We are a DNVB (Digital Native Vertical Brand) offering timeless women's clothing at reasonable prices. Our clothes are made from 100% natural materials and are manufactured in Europe using local know-how. Our special feature is that we release mini capsules very regularly with new items! Our customers love it!
How would you define the spirit of the woman Maria de la Orden?
Independent, travelling, free and feminine women.
What are the highlights of your collections?
In summer, kaftans, pareos and high-waisted trousers are a staple in our collection. We launched the Alerie series, smocked dresses and shirts in a variety of colours and prints that have been very successful. I think this will remain a key line in future collections. In winter, our cashmeres are a hit! Classic cuts with daring and modern colours.
How did you get into entrepreneurship?
I think I've always had an entrepreneurial soul... I can't help but have 3,000 ideas for projects and want to implement everything! Mariadelaorden started after a trip with my family to Peru where I fell in love with the country and its crafts. I brought back some fabrics and started selling my creations to my friends... After Instagram appeared and helped me a lot to make me known.
What are your tips for living life to the fullest?
A good breakfast every day: avocado and tomato toast with olive oil! This gives me energy for the whole morning!
What is your relationship with food supplements and how has D+ for care revolutionised it?
DAY+ was my first food supplement and I am not disappointed! For 3 months now, it is the first thing I take when I wake up!
Just between us... do you recommend D+ for care to your girlfriends or is it your best kept beauty secret?
I share of course!
Your favourite addresses?
Komatsubaki, for me the best jap in Paris. I love the store Merci and its cafe/library and the flea market of Saint Ouen to find vintage furniture.
Your essentials that go everywhere with you at the beach?
A small wicker basket and a hat from D'Estrëe (the brand of one of my best friends).

Your favourite outfit this summer?
A 1-piece swimsuit Eres with ourMiramar sarong in natural linen and our little sandals Juju in raffia!
Your favourite beauty gestures?
I don't have a real beauty routine, but I never fail to remove my make-up with Bioderma micellar water. For my hair, I use Christophe Robin products, especially the regenerating range with prickly pear oil.
Your fashion and beauty icons/inspirations?
I am very inspired by the 70's and 80's, I love Jackie Kennedy, Jane Birkin, Romy Schneider, Grace Kelly...
What makes you feel beautiful?
Put on one of our Aleria dresses that sculpt the figure beautifully.
In which D+ for care women do you recognize yourself?
The cheeky one: compensating for my busy schedule for a clear conscience and beautiful skin.
What is your mantra for staying motivated no matter what happens in your entrepreneurial life?
Nothing is impossible!

It depends on my state of mind!
